A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce of Uzbekistan and the Thai Trade Council

    On March 16 of this year, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a ceremony of signing a memorandum of understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Trade Council of Thailand.

    The event was attended by Acting Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Uzbekistan I. Zhasimov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand S. Angubolkul, Consul General, Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Bangkok F. Sultanov and others.

    At the beginning of the event, Acting Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan I. Zhasimov made an introductory speech, where he noted that the Kingdom of Thailand is one of Uzbekistan's important partners in Southeast Asia. He also noted that trade, economic and cultural ties at various levels are developing steadily between the countries.

    It is worth emphasizing that the interest of the business circles of Thailand in expanding business ties with Uzbekistan is consistently increasing. Today, a number of projects totaling $12 million are being implemented in our country with the participation of Thai investments.

    Following the event, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Trade Council of Thailand.

    The signing of this memorandum will be the next stage in the development of mutual relations and will contribute to the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Thailand.
