A memorandum of understanding has been signed with the Ministry of Family Affairs and Social Services of Turkey

    The delegation of the National Agency for Social Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by the director of the agency Mansurbek Olloyorov, is taking part in the first meeting of ministers responsible for the social protection policy of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, which is taking place on May 16-17 in Istanbul.

    The event on the theme "Against globalized world threats: our family is our future" is held in order to discuss and develop joint actions that will form the basis of the declaration in response to global and regional social challenges.

    During the visit, the head of the agency held a meeting with Makhinur Ozdemir Guktash, Minister of Family Affairs and Social Services of Turkey, during which issues of improving the quality of life of citizens, protecting the rights of children, women and the elderly, as well as expanding public access to social services and assistance were discussed. As a result, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the social protection authorities of the two countries.

    The document establishes the parties' intentions to cooperate in the field of social protection, exchange of experience and implementation of joint projects. Special attention is paid to the use of information technology to optimize the processes of social assistance.

    Dynamic joint work in the field of social protection and the exchange of experience emphasize the importance of international cooperation, opening up new horizons for joint initiatives between Uzbekistan and other countries in the region.
