As part of the 25th session of the UNWTO General Assembly in Samarkand, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Declaration on assigning the status of World Cultural Tourism Capital to Samarkand and the Agreement on the establishment of the International Academy of Tourism were adopted.
