Representatives of Uzbekistan are taking part in Jeddah in the development of the OIC Action Program for 2026-2035

    On October 1, an intergovernmental expert meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) began its work in the Saudi city of Jeddah, dedicated to the development of an Action Program for 2026-2035. Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Saudi Arabia are taking part in the event.

    The new program will be a logical continuation of the current OIC Action Program for 2016-2025, which has played an important role in strengthening cooperation between the organization's member States in various fields. The program for 2026-2035 is aimed at further development of these areas and the introduction of new initiatives that meet modern requirements, reports the news agency "Dunyo".

    The main purpose of the meeting is to identify the priority areas of the OIC's activities for the coming years. Experts and representatives of the participating countries discuss key issues of cooperation.

    The Action Program for 2026-2035 is expected to become a strategic document aimed at strengthening the interaction of the participating countries and achieving common goals consistent with the spirit and mission of the OIC.
