The sides exchanged views on further expansion and deepening of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other areas of mutual interest, Kabar News Agency reports.

The Head of State noted that unprecedented positive changes have taken place in Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations in almost all areas of bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the exceptional and important role of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in these joint achievements.

Sadyr Japarov, noting with satisfaction the steady growth in mutual trade between the two countries observed in recent years, expressed confidence that the issues discussed today and the agreements reached will be fully implemented at the level of the governments of the two countries.

In turn, Abdulla Aripov conveyed warm greetings from the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, noting that Sadyr Japarov was one of the first to congratulate the head of state on his successful victory in the presidential elections. This is another evidence of the high level of relations between the two countries and the firm support of fraternal Kyrgyzstan.

At the same time, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan focused on the historical decisions taken during the state visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan. In particular, the completion of the process of delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border.

During the conversation, Abdulla Aripov emphasized that Uzbekistan sincerely rejoices at the successes of fraternal Kyrgyzstan, the sustainable development of the country's economy, noting that the start of construction of the modern eco-city of Asman is a vivid symbol of the successful development of the state.
