    The President of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) arrived in Samarkand

    For the first time, the FIA-2024 conference will be held in Central Asia - in the city of Samarkand. On June 9, FIA President Mohammed bin Sulayem arrived in the city to participate in the conference and other events.

    Officials of the republic and the region met the guests at the Samarkand International Airport.

    The extraordinary General Assembly of the FIA 2024 will be held within the framework of the conference. This year's General Assembly is dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the Federation.

    The event will be held at the congress center of the Silk Road tourist complex. More than 500 delegates from 147 countries will take part in it.

    For reference: The FIA is the International Automobile Federation, which was founded in 1904. The Federation unites 147 member countries on five continents and is the governing body of world motorsport, as well as the world's leading federation of mobility organizations.
