An important aspect of the reforms underway in the country is support for forward-looking ideas proposed by citizens, especially young people and other proactive members of society, as well as the creation of open and effective mechanisms to turn them into practical projects.
In accordance with the Presidential Decree of July 14, 2025, “On Additional Measures to Further Support Promising Initiatives in the Implementation of Reforms”, the “Kelajak Uchun” forum for promising initiatives was established. Its primary objective is to identify, support, and implement relevant proposals submitted by the public.
As part of the forum, the crowd-platform kelajakuchun.gov.uz was launched, enabling citizens to openly publish their initiatives and submit them for review and expert evaluation.
This year, the forum’s organizing committee identified entrepreneurship and employment, ecology, water supply, and the expansion of green energy, the implementation of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, improving the quality of healthcare and education, and the modernization of the judicial and legal system based on modern approaches as priority areas.
Following the forum’s announcement, more than 1,300 proposals and initiatives were submitted by citizens. The Agency preliminarily reviewed them for Strategic Development and Reforms and the Business Development Bank, and then systematized them according to the established priority areas.
The initiatives were subsequently analyzed with the participation of members of the Council of Mentors and industry experts, and evaluated for practical significance, feasibility, socio-economic impact, and scalability. As a result, the top 50 and the top 10 of the most relevant projects were selected.
On the opening day of the forum, an awards ceremony was held for the authors of the initiatives included in the top 10. The winners received certificates and cash prizes.
Among the projects presented to the President were initiatives focused on using plastic waste in road construction, developing an innovative air purification device, supplying remote areas with energy through mobile units, introducing an automated warning system at pedestrian crossings, and creating a national engineering platform.
It was noted that each of these initiatives is intended to address specific social and economic challenges.
The projects will be assigned to the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Transport, the Committee for Automobile Roads, and other relevant organizations, in accordance with their respective areas of responsibility.
An action plan for their implementation will be approved, while the progress of each initiative will be subject to systematic monitoring. JSCB Business Development Bank will participate in financing promising projects and will continuously monitor their implementation.
The Head of State emphasized the importance of focusing on the practical outcomes of the initiatives, collaborating with their authors, and transforming each project into a viable, cost-effective, and beneficial solution for the people.
