The resolution also stipulated the opening of 14 regional branches of the new center.

Modern buildings have been erected on the territory of the complex, which occupies almost four hectares. All departments are equipped with the latest medical technology. In terms of scale and level of equipment, the center can be called a flagship among other regional medical institutions.

There is a regional perinatal center with 200 beds, a city maternity hospital with 200 beds, a screening center with 50 appointments, and a reproductive center with 50 appointments. The opportunity has been created to provide specialized medical care to women of maternity age, pregnant women, and women in labor in one complex. After the opening of the center, one and a half thousand medical workers will work here.

The Head of state got acquainted with the conditions and capabilities of the center. Gave instructions on improving the qualifications of doctors in cooperation with Germany, Belarus, and other countries and introducing advanced methods of prevention and treatment.

In the future, the center will receive more than 8 thousand women with pathological pregnancies, saving the lives of many women in labor.

The center will also perform 42 minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures, including tubectomy, cystectomy, myomectomy, and ventrofixation. Services for adolescent girls, women’s reproductive health, preparation for healthy motherhood, pregnancy management, screening, delivery, and postpartum care for mothers and children will be provided in one place.

The center will maintain regular interaction with more than 860 midwives at places. Pregnant women and women of childbearing age in all districts of the region will be covered by a single electronic database. Contacts will be established with women’s consultation rooms in seventeen central polyclinics and eighteen regional maternity centers.

If risk factors are identified in women, the center will treat them and, if necessary, refer them to medical institutions at the republican level. The center also has facilities to conduct molecular genetic studies in newlyweds, pregnant women, and women of childbearing age, as well as newborns. Infants with identified hereditary diseases will be provided with particular medications and nutrition.
