A meeting was held at the Ministry of Digital Technologies between Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Farkhod Ermanov, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, and a delegation led by Wang Xuhui, Founder of "Shanghai LinkWise Data Intelligence Co., Ltd".

During the meeting, the project for the construction of the Modular Intelligent Computing Center (MICC) and the mechanisms for its implementation were reviewed.

The parties discussed practical steps for establishing the center, technical infrastructure, construction processes and the necessary conditions for the center's effective operation. It was emphasized that the project is important in terms of developing the country's digital economy, expanding the high-tech sector, and attracting local investments.

Furthermore, issues of training local specialists in Karakalpakstan, creating new jobs, and engaging youth in digital fields were among the main areas of the meeting. The delegations put forward proposals to strengthen cooperation with educational institutions and develop support programs for young specialists.

At the end of the meeting, an action plan for the construction of the MICC was signed. The project will be implemented in two stages:

First stage — a 60 MW data center,

Second stage — additional infrastructure with a capacity of 240 MW.

In this way, the plan is to establish a center with a total capacity of 300 MW.
