During the trip, the members of the delegation visited Beijing to discuss the prospects for developing cooperation with leading universities in China and to hold talks with the heads of prestigious universities training personnel in the field of language and literature, international journalism, tourism, international relations, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

During the meetings held at the Beijing University of Foreign Languages and the Beijing University of Language and Culture, information was provided on the reforms in the field of education in Uzbekistan.

The Chinese side highly appreciated the large-scale reforms in our country, expressed readiness to cooperate in the field of personnel training in such areas as the development of cooperation in the field of higher education, science and innovation between higher educational institutions of the two countries, the creation of modern scientific programs, textbooks in Chinese.

Following the meetings, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and Beijing University of Language and Culture, defining the main areas and directions of cooperation. An agreement was also reached on the development of a "roadmap" for areas of cooperation, which will include measures to be implemented in the 2023-2024 academic year.

Also, within the framework of meetings with the leadership of the Beijing University of Foreign Languages and the Beijing University of Language and Culture, 22 monographs on Chinese studies published at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies within the framework of the scientific project "Chinese Studies in Uzbekistan" were presented.

Meetings were also held with TSU students studying at these universities in China.
