Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov spoke about the work done in the field of scientific and innovative development of the country. The parties discussed issues such as technology transfer, joint research projects, and exchange of scientists.

Following the meeting, it was decided to approve the action plan (roadmap) of cooperation in the field of science and innovation at the intergovernmental level.

Proposals for the exchange of databases, joint licensing, patent and citation work between the two countries were announced. The possibilities of establishing an exchange of members of scientific and technical councils in order to exclude negative consequences and provide objective, independent expertise were also considered.

The parties considered the launch of the project and the fair "Kazakhstan &Uzbekistan innovations day" within the framework of the international week of innovative ideas Innoweek.uz, where scientists and entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will be able to establish contacts, implement and launch their projects.
