The Republic of Korea has allocated a grant of 3 million dollars for the preparation of a feasibility study of the Tashkent-Samarkand high-speed railway

    On December 16, a presentation of the feasibility study (feasibility study) report on the construction of a separate Tashkent-Samarkand high-speed passenger railway took place.

    The feasibility study was developed by a consortium of South Korean companies Saman Engineering, Dong Myeong Engineering Consultants & Architecture Co., Ltd, Korea Railroad Corporation and Korea National Railway.

    The event was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Transport, Uzbekiston Temir Yullari JSC, representatives of relevant ministries and departments, the Export-Import Bank of Korea, international financial organizations, as well as representatives of the Korean consortium.

    It should be recalled that on February 14, 2025, the development of a feasibility study for this project was launched, and the Export-Import Bank of the Republic of Korea allocated a grant of 3 million US dollars for its preparation.
