The signing ceremony was attended by: Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of Latvia Edvins Balshevich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Latvia Kadambay Sultanov, Head of the Department of Economic Relations, Trade and Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Juris Stalmeistars, Chairman of Corporate Solutions Aigars Cerus, Head of NAPA Automotive Umid Abdusattorov.
The agreement provides for the introduction of an e-learning technology platform and the provision of software solutions for e-learning in the field of IT security adapted to the needs of the local market for employees of the Uzbek public and private sectors and the export of IT services from Uzbekistan to EU countries.
Aigars Cerus said during the meeting: "We have been working as IT security consultants since 2010. In Uzbekistan, one of the first tasks of the partnership will be the adaptation of software solutions for e-learning based on the CloudStudy platform to the needs of the local market in the field of IT security. Among other things, Uzbek specialists will be trained to identify actions that may contain phishing threats, basic knowledge on password creation, safe use of social networks, personal data security and other areas."
The head of NAPA Automotive Umid Abdusattorov noted that the company is interested in cooperation with countries and companies that already have experience in implementing various electronic services, as well as experience in training IT security services.
