Saida Mirziyoyeva discussed priorities of Uzbek-American cooperation with Eric Meyer

    On June 9, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva met with Eric Meyer, Acting Head of the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs.

    During the conversation, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for further cooperation.

    Special attention was paid to the expansion of educational and cultural exchanges, including plans to expand partnerships with American universities.

    The possibilities of deepening trade and economic ties, as well as initiatives aimed at supporting women, were considered separately. The programs implemented in Uzbekistan to develop women's entrepreneurship and ensure transparent access to financial resources were presented.

    "We are grateful to our American colleagues for their constant support and open dialogue. We are confident that there will be even more joint results ahead," said Saida Mirziyoyeva.
