Uzbek National Guard snipers won an absolute victory at the Sharp Blade 2025 international competition in China

    From July 12 to 20, 2025, the Sharp Blade 2025 International Sniper Tournament was held in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China, with 45 teams from 25 countries participating.

    The competition was held in four categories, with separate winners in each category.

    The Uzbekistan National Guard team demonstrated high combat skills and mastery, surpassing teams from countries such as China (the host country), Vietnam, South Korea, Belarus, Russia, Spain, Libya, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Hungary, Cuba, and others.

    Our snipers took first place and won an absolute victory in the two most difficult disciplines of the competition:

    a complex sniper exercise, where at a distance of 1200 meters from seven firing positions it was necessary to quickly hit 24 targets placed at different distances;

    shooting from a high-rise building in urban conditions, where sniper pairs hit 6 targets at a distance of 100 to 650 meters.

    In addition, our military personnel also took first place in individual and extreme sniper exercises.

    As a result of the tournament, the National Guard team won 8 medals, 10 diplomas, valuable prizes, and the competition cup for winning the most difficult technical and tactical disciplines.
