During the meeting, issues of strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States in the trade and legal sphere, in particular, the implementation of joint initiatives and programs to develop women's entrepreneurship, were discussed.
The senator provided information on the large-scale reforms being implemented in our country at the initiative of the head of state, especially in the field of support for women's entrepreneurship and the favorable conditions created for this. It was noted separately that there is a quantitative and qualitative growth in the field of women's entrepreneurship, and the economic activity of women is increasing.
The delegation members highly appreciated the democratic reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, efforts to empower women and expressed the readiness of the CLDP program of the US Department of Commerce to expand cooperation in this area.
During the conversation, they also discussed the prospects for cooperation in supporting women's participation in entrepreneurship, ensuring their economic independence and strengthening their social protection.
