A competition for the title of Excellent Fire safety will be held among business entities

    The Decree of the Government adopted the Regulation "On the procedure for organizing and holding the competition "Excellent Fire Safety" (No. 620 of 24.11.2023).

    According to the Resolution, the competition will be held annually from 2024 in October-December alternately between business entities that have facilities of fire hazard groups I and II (with the exception of newly built, reconstructed, expanded, technically converted and overhauled facilities).

    Applications of candidates are accepted by district (city) commissions through a special electronic information system of the Ministry of Emergency Situations within 20 days from the date of the announcement of the competition (participation in the competition is free).

    Candidates who have expressed a desire to participate in the competition, together with their applications, submit:

    • general information about the business entity (address of the object, type of activity, organizational and legal form, etc.);
    • copies of documents confirming the implementation of the planned activities, a photo album, a high-quality video lasting no more than 5 minutes.

    The competition is organized in 3 stages:

    At the 1st stage, selection events are held at the district (city) level in order to select suitable candidates for participation in the competition.

    At the 2nd stage, the commissions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent review and evaluate the submitted documents and materials for candidates who scored the highest number of points at the district (city) level.

    At the 3rd stage, the selection of candidates submitted by the commissions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent is carried out.

    The final stage of the competition is held annually in the second decade of December in the city of Tashkent.

    The candidate recognized as the winner of the competition is awarded a one-time cash prize in the amount of 100 million soums, and his activities are not checked by the state fire supervision authorities for 2 years following the day of the official publication of the results of the competition, the Ministry of Justice reports.
