During the negotiations, the issues of sending professors, researchers of research institutions and students of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan to the UK for internships and advanced training were discussed, the Dunyo news agency reports.
The British side highly appreciated the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan on the development of human resources and the effective use of their potential.
It was noted that conditions for internships of Uzbek students and specialists have been created at the Aston Fruit Farm. They expressed readiness to organize them for representatives of the Tashkent State Agrarian University and the Samarkand Institute of Agricultural Innovation and Research.
It is expected that, thanks to these internships, Uzbek students and specialists will have the opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills in the agricultural sector and apply them in practice in the future.
