The event is organized by the Committee on Tourism of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the khokimiyat of Surkhandarya region.

A special press tour will also be held as part of the festival, during which the unique tourist sites of the region will be presented to journalists and participants.

Tandir Fest is aimed at promoting national values, rich culinary traditions, folk and applied arts and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan. Representatives from 12 regions of the country are invited to the festival, who will present their traditional cuisine and crafts.

The festival will last until May 4th.
