Thanking for the visit, Sh. Umurzakov stressed Tashkent's long-term cooperation and friendship with South Korea in general, and with the Association in particular, and noted the active participation of South Korean companies in ADB tenders for waste management projects in the capital.

Kim Chang Keon expressed gratitude for the meeting and said that each of his visits to Tashkent surprises him with changes and updates, which is an indicator of the quality of the work of the capital's administration. He said that the delegation intends to discuss cooperation in banking, finance, energy, as well as waste management, which is especially important for cities with a large population.

The guests were given detailed information about the processes of waste collection, sorting, and disposal in Tashkent; about the problems and issues that need to be solved; short- and long-term plans in this area. The readiness of the capital's khokimiyat to fully support the initiatives of potential foreign investors was expressed.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue and consider areas of practical cooperation.
