The heads of departments also discussed the implementation of tasks regarding strengthening cooperation set by the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan during mutual official visits.

At the same time, an agreement was reached on concrete steps to develop cooperation between the countries in such industries as sericulture, hazelnut growing, winemaking, agricultural engineering and others.

The sides discussed issues related to the organization of the 2nd meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture of the Organization of Turkic States and the Agribusiness Forum, which will be held on September 26 in Baku.

Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
