The parties noted that cooperation is developing in line with the initiatives of the presidents of the two states and is an important factor in strengthening Uzbek-Russian relations. Special attention is paid to the exchange of experience in the fields of healthcare, education and industry.
Shavkat Umurzakov stressed that Tashkent today is a dynamically developing city, where large-scale work is underway to create a comfortable, modern and clean urban space.
During the conversation, prospects for expanding partnership relations between the districts of Tashkent and St. Petersburg, deepening cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, as well as developing business contacts were discussed. It was noted that Uzbekistan is a key trading partner of Russia, and the parties intend to strengthen this area.
The meeting was held in a warm and constructive atmosphere. The participants expressed their willingness to further expand bilateral cooperation, regular contacts and mutual visits to share experiences.
Following the negotiations, an Action Plan ("Roadmap") was signed for the implementation of agreements between the khokimiyat of Tashkent and the government of St. Petersburg for 2025-2028. The document covers cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural spheres.
