The country’s high economic growth rates, active foreign policy, expanding international cooperation, and Uzbekistan’s transformation into a center of business activity and tourism require accelerated, balanced infrastructure development. In this regard, particular attention is being paid to the creation of modern transport networks, service facilities, and public buildings.

During the presentation, projects for facilities across the country were reviewed.

In particular, the construction of a Congress Center and a historical and ethnographic park is planned in the city of Khiva. These facilities will enable the hosting of major international events and increase tourist flows.

The construction of a Confucius Institute and a Luban Workshop is also envisaged, to create conditions for cultural and educational activities and for training young people in modern professions.

As part of the modernization of Urgench International Airport, plans include expanding infrastructure, improving passenger and cargo services, and strengthening logistics capabilities, which will elevate the region’s transport potential.

In addition, a separate railway line from Urgench railway station to the modernized airport is planned, which will significantly improve passenger convenience.

Projects were also proposed to improve and landscape the existing Urgench – Khiva highway and to construct an alternative road route.

A project to build an expo center in Fergana was discussed, with the necessary conditions to host international exhibitions, business forums, and significant events. It was noted that implementing this project will increase the region’s investment attractiveness.

In addition, an initiative was presented to establish a research center named after Burhaniddin Margilani. The center is expected to develop internationally recognized activities in spiritual heritage and academic research, and to establish a modern scientific school.

Proposals were also reviewed for the construction of a new, modern campus of Bukhara State University. The need to create a comfortable educational and research environment for faculty members and students was emphasized.

In Tashkent, the construction of a modern rhythmic gymnastics complex is planned. The center will provide the necessary conditions to unlock the potential of young people and train professional gymnasts.

The President stressed the importance of strict compliance with quality, convenience, and modern standards in project implementation, improving the culture of urban development, and taking into account the needs of the population, issuing relevant instructions to the responsible officials.
