According to the resolution, the Concept of development of the transport and logistics system of Uzbekistan until 2030 and the Roadmap for its implementation were approved.
The main targets and indicators have been established, including the following:
· an increase of at least 2 times in the total volume of international cargo transportation by road, rail and air;
· increase in exports of transport and logistics services up to 2 times;
· increase in the share of container traffic by at least 1.5 times;
· improving Uzbekistan's position in the Logistics Efficiency Index (LPI) Of the World Bank to a level not lower than 55th.
When organizing international freight transportation, a zero VAT rate is applied to freight forwarding services.
Starting from June 1, 2025, an electronic queue system for vehicles will be introduced at automobile checkpoints across the State Border.
A regional training center for the training and advanced training of personnel in the field of international road transport will be established jointly with the International Union of Motor Transport.
Roadside service facilities (“Service area” and “Service point”) will be created along public roads.
