The Head of Turkey warmly congratulated the Leader of Uzbekistan and the multinational people of the country on the 30th anniversary of independence. On behalf of the friendly Turkish people, he conveyed sincere wishes for peace, well-being and prosperity in the Uzbek land.

The two-fold increase in the indicators of mutual trade and the creation of more than 240 joint ventures since the beginning of the year was noted with satisfaction.
Cooperation between the leading companies of the two countries is strengthening. Important investment projects are being implemented in energy, industry, agriculture, infrastructure, tourism and other areas.
Joint educational, cultural and humanitarian programs are being successfully implemented. In August this year, leading Turkish specialists headed the architectural and construction institutes in Tashkent and Samarkand.
The Leaders also reviewed the schedule of the upcoming events at the highest level, including the preparation for the next meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council.
The main attention was paid to the situation in the region in the context of the escalation of the military-political situation in Afghanistan. The importance of continuing contacts and multilateral dialogue on issues of ensuring regional security and stability was noted.
