It was reported that a fellow citizen gave birth to a child in a local hospital in Turkey, but the mother passed away shortly after due to illness. The child was then cared for by Syrian and Uzbek women for several years.

Later, the child, left without parental care, was handed over to his aunt. However, because the child had no birth documents, as a minor, he was placed by the state into an orphanage located in Istanbul.

The orphanage administration rejected the aunt's request to take legal guardianship of her nephew due to the lack of identification documents. Following several negotiations conducted by the Consulate General and the Embassy with state agencies, and with the involvement of lawyers, a Turkish court ruled to transfer the child to his aunt's care.

Once the issues were resolved, the Consulate General issued a "Certificate of Return to the Homeland," and they were returned to Uzbekistan. Representatives of the National Agency for Social Protection announced that the child's living conditions, education, and interests will be ensured within the framework of the law.
