Prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of railway transport were discussed at the meeting.

The officials emphasized the positive dynamics of the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in this direction.

I. Huseynov noted that in accordance with the agreements on the development of the international multimodal route "Asia-Pacific region - China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan - Azerbaijan - Georgia - Turkey - Europe", common transit tariff rates have been established between our countries and conditions for the transportation of goods along this route have been determined.

It was noted that today there is a tendency to gradually increase the volume of cargo transportation along this route, which is facilitated by the remaining attractive tariffs.

Following the meeting, the parties identified tasks that will be implemented in the future within the framework of the discussed areas of cooperation.
