"Following
the talks with the Federal Minister of European and International Affairs of
the Republic of Austria, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, and the Federal Minister of the
Interior, Gerhard Karner, a number of bilateral documents were signed.
In
particular, the Protocol and the Additional Protocol on Amendments to the
Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Tax
Evasion on Income and Property, the Partnership Agreement on Migration and
Mobility, as well as the Agreement on the Exemption of Holders of Diplomatic
Passports from visa Requirements were adopted.
We are
convinced that the agreements reached will contribute to the further expansion
of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Austria, strengthen mutual trust
and promote new joint initiatives," the Uzbek Foreign Minister wrote on
his telegram channel.
