    Uzbekistan and Germany expand cooperation in the field of migration and mobility

    A trilateral memorandum of understanding was signed at the Embassy of Uzbekistan, aimed at facilitating the attraction of Uzbek specialists to the German labor market.

    The signing ceremony was attended by Uzbek diplomats, Orif Butaev, Chairman of the Board of the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank Mikrokreditbank, and a delegation led by the head of the German company International People IP GmbH and Co.KG Thomas Foerster, as well as the online head of the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation in Uzbekistan, Manfred Wangler, reports IA "Dunyo."

    According to the document, the German side will offer language courses to our compatriots to simplify the learning process in educational institutions of dual vocational education in Germany. This will facilitate the training of selected specialists from Uzbekistan to work at German enterprises in areas such as gastronomy, logistics and the meat processing industry. The German side will also provide assistance in processing visas and other documents, meeting in Germany, providing jobs, places of residence and registration.

    "The International People Education GmbH training center has recently started operating in Tashkent. Currently, it is possible to take language courses to determine the level of German language proficiency, as well as specialized courses focused on specific professions," said Akbar Fakhriev, head of the center.

    A German delegation is expected to visit our country in April to develop a practical action plan in cooperation with the representative office of the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation and the JSCB Mikrokreditbank. As part of this project, Mikrokreditbank will create a working group for constant interaction with the German side.

    The signing of the memorandum was an important step in the implementation of the intergovernmental Agreement on comprehensive partnership between Uzbekistan and Germany in the field of migration and mobility.
