During the talks, prospects for strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and key German financial institutions were discussed. Mr. Hubertus expressed his willingness to help promote large German financial institutions to the Uzbek market.
Special attention was paid to the formation of a favorable ecosystem for attracting venture funds, business angels and other participants in the alternative investment sector. The possibilities of introducing best practices in the field of financial technologies and investments used in the framework of the activities of Frankfurt Main Finance and the World Alliance of Financial Centers were discussed.
The parties highly appreciated Uzbekistan's progress towards improving the investment climate and creating conditions for sustainable economic growth. An agreement was reached to continue practical cooperation, including through joint events and consultations to implement the planned initiatives.
The meeting confirmed mutual interest in further deepening partnership and developing new forms of economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.
