The parties noted the steady positive dynamics of bilateral relations and a significant increase in mutual trade in 2025. It was emphasized that last year the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Indonesia increased by 82%.

During the negotiations, agreements were reached on expanding exports of agricultural products, speeding up quarantine and phytosanitary procedures, as well as establishing cooperation on the mutual recognition of halal certificates. Special attention is paid to the transition to specific mechanisms for the implementation of the planned measures.

Following the meeting, an agreement on cooperation in the field of trade and investment was signed, as well as a joint ministerial statement on the start of negotiations on a free trade agreement between Uzbekistan and Indonesia.

The parties expressed confidence that the agreements reached would bring bilateral cooperation to a qualitatively new level and give an additional impetus to a long-term, mutually beneficial and systematic partnership.
