The group was attended by representatives of the Department of Migration and Personalization at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, as well as delegations from relevant ministries and departments of both countries.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy General Prosecutors of the Republic of Uzbekistan D. Kasimov and the Russian Federation P. Gorodov.
The meeting at the Prosecutor General's Office reflects the coordinating role of the Prosecutor's Office in ensuring the rule of law and developing interstate cooperation in the field of migration.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of the migration situation, identified problematic issues and considered possible solutions. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop joint measures aimed at ensuring the rule of law in the field of migration, taking into account the interests of both countries.
