Special
attention was paid to the negotiations with the Turkish delegation. The parties
discussed issues of professional development, retraining of employees and
improvement of their professional skills in accordance with international
standards.
During the
meeting, the sides exchanged views on the role of training highly qualified
specialists in the effective fight against drug crime, as well as on the
prospects for further expansion of cooperation between the two countries.
Following
the negotiations, an agreement was reached on the training of employees of
special operational units of Uzbekistan in specialized educational institutions
of Turkey according to a two-stage training program.
It is noted
that the implementation of this initiative will contribute to strengthening the
professional potential of specialists, studying international best practices
and improving the effectiveness of countering modern drug threats.
The
agreements reached also create the basis for further expansion of bilateral
cooperation, exchange of experience and coordination of joint efforts in the
fight against drug trafficking.
