The West
African Republic of Guinea-Bissau has become the 168th country with which
Uzbekistan has established diplomatic relations, the Dune news agency reports.
The parties
expressed their strong interest in strengthening cooperation within international
organizations, including the United Nations and its specialized agencies.
An
agreement was reached to intensify cooperation in the search for mutually
beneficial areas of bilateral relations.
Recall that
on April 19, 2026, the Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Rwanda, Bakhtiyor
Saidov and Olivier Ndukhungirehe, signed a Joint communique on the
establishment of diplomatic relations in Antalya.
