The event has become an important platform for strengthening the traditional friendly ties between the two countries, bringing trade and economic cooperation to a new level and expanding direct contacts between entrepreneurs.
The positive dynamics of bilateral trade was highlighted during the forum. Thus, by the end of 2025, the volume of mutual trade turnover amounted to $ 965 million. The parties identified bringing this figure to more than $1 billion in the near future as a priority.
It was noted that Uzbekistan's exports of textile, metallurgical and agricultural products are steadily growing. In turn, Belarus has consistently increased supplies of meat and dairy products, pharmaceutical products and industrial equipment.
The forum was attended by about 50 leading entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan working in the fields of food industry, construction, furniture production and textiles. Representatives of large enterprises of the Gomel region presented their export potential and investment opportunities. The parties discussed in detail the prospects for the development of industrial cooperation, the implementation of joint projects and access to new markets.
During the event, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Gomel and Tashkent regions, as well as commercial contracts for the supply of meat and dairy products, agricultural machinery and wood products.
It is expected that the agreements reached will contribute to strengthening long-term and sustainable cooperation between entrepreneurs of the two countries, the implementation of new investment projects and further increase the volume of mutual trade.
