The event was chaired by Jamshid Kuchkarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Economy and Finance, and Fadillah bin Yusuf, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Minister of Energy Transition and Water Resources Transformation.
Within the framework of the event, investment opportunities of Uzbekistan were presented, in addition, participants were able to discuss the prospects for expanding cooperation in such areas as energy, tourism, pharmaceuticals and trade.
The Malaysian delegation included heads of relevant ministries and business representatives, including Five Petroleum, KK Mart, Chiya, Stone Kingdom, Lestary Energy, Aries Engineering Consultants, MSG Green Energy, Xepa Soul Plattinson, Asetana Trillions and others.
Within the framework of the forum, a ceremony was held to exchange signed documents in the fields of oil and gas, agriculture and trade. The agreements provide for the creation of joint ventures, the development of sustainable production and the promotion of products to regional markets. B2B and B2G negotiations were also organized with the participation of representatives of the business community and government agencies of the two countries.
