Uzbek-Malaysian cooperation is 30 years’ old

On February 21, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Saifuddin Abdullah on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

As noted in the message, a solid foundation has been created in recent years for a significant intensification of political dialogue, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.

The close and constructive interaction of the parties within the framework of international organizations is mentioned separately.

The conviction is expressed in the further deepening of Uzbek-Malaysian relations in all areas of mutual interest.

It should be noted that Malaysia supported and co-sponsored the UN General Assembly resolution "Strengthening regional and international cooperation to ensure peace, stability and sustainable development in the Central Asian region", initiated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reports.
