Prospects for the further strengthening of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Paraguay were reviewed.

Welcoming the President of Paraguay, the President of Uzbekistan emphasized that this visit holds historical significance, as it is the first by a President of a Latin American state to Uzbekistan. It was noted that the current summit will open a new stage in the development of friendly relations between the two countries.

During the talks, priority areas for expanding bilateral cooperation were discussed, including trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, educational, and other spheres.

Particular attention was paid to increasing bilateral trade, developing business contacts, and implementing joint projects in agriculture, food and chemical industries, digitalization, tourism, and sports.

An exchange of views also took place on current issues on the international and regional agenda.

Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further developing political dialogue and deepening practical cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
