Uzhydromet has published emergency information about the deterioration of the weather in the mountains and on the Kamchik pass

On February 8-9, 2023, snow is expected on the section of the Kamchik pass of the A-373 Tashkent - Osh highway, sometimes heavy precipitation, fog, visibility deterioration up to 50 m, wind strengthening up to 15-20 m/s, snow drifts and ice are possible on the road.

According to the data of the Uzhydromet service, due to the expected precipitation and significant changes in air temperature on February 8-13, an avalanche danger is declared in the mountainous regions of the republic.

in Kashkadarya region: in Kitab, Shakhrisyabz districts;
in Surkhandarya region: in Kumkurgan, Saryasi, Uzun and Baysun districts;
in the Samarkand region: in the Samarkand, Surgut districts;
in the Jizzakh region: in Kamensky Bakhmal districts;
in the Tashkent region: in the Parkent, Akhangaran, Bostanlyk districts and in the Chimgan tract of the Chatkal mountain system;
in Namangan region: in the Papal district;
in the Ferghana region: in Sokh, Ferghana districts.

Citizens living in mountainous areas, vacationers and drivers are asked to take precautions.
