    At least 27 people were killed and more than 10 injured due to a terrorist attack in the Jammu and Kashmir region in northern India, News18 TV channel reported, citing police sources. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

    It is reported that a terrorist group affiliated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba group has attacked tourists in the Baisaran Valley in southern Kashmir, killing 27 people and wounding 12 others. According to the list of victims, all of them are Indian citizens.

    It is specified that several armed men in camouflage opened fire indiscriminately at tourists who were taking a horse ride. The attack took place in the Baysaran Valley, which is a popular tourist destination.

    According to one of the survivors, before opening fire, the terrorists asked about their religion. The Resistance Front group claimed responsibility for the attack.
