"Trump is extremely poorly versed in international law issues. The forcible displacement of a group of people living in the occupied territory is a violation of international law and amounts to ethnic cleansing," she said in an interview with the European edition of Politico. According to Pillay, there is "no legal way" to implement Trump's idea of relocating Palestinians from the enclave and transferring it to the possession of the United States.
