Israel continues to strike at civilian infrastructure in various parts of Lebanon, said Janine Hennis-Plasshart, the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon.
"These attacks are a continuation of previous incidents in which the population and civilian infrastructure are being attacked throughout Lebanon," the press service of the UN mission quoted Hennis-Plasshart as saying.
The Special Coordinator stated that the violation of international humanitarian law is unacceptable, reports ria.ru.
"Civilians and infrastructure must be protected under all circumstances," she added.
