The event, organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was attended by heads of relevant ministries and departments, industry associations and more than 500 representatives of the business circles of the two countries.
About 100 large national companies of Uzbekistan specializing in electrical engineering, building materials, textiles, leather and footwear, furniture and woodworking, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food industry and tourism presented their products at the exhibition.
Within the framework of the event, "B2B" and "G2B" negotiations were organized, during which entrepreneurs had the opportunity to establish new ties and discuss the possibilities of implementing joint projects. The official guests also have the opportunity to discuss the technical and legal aspects of new trade agreements in order to increase trade turnover between the two countries.
According to experts, the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition will serve as an important platform for promoting Uzbek products to the Pakistani market, strengthening ties between entrepreneurs of the two countries and launching new investment projects.
As a result of the event, trade contracts are expected to be signed between enterprises of Uzbekistan and Pakistan for a total of 500 million dollars.
