Prospects of joint training of qualified personnel in the field of energy for Uzbekistan were discussed in Paris

    In order to improve the system of training national personnel in the field of energy on the basis of modern practice, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan with the director of the National School of Applied Sciences of the Loire (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées - INSA) Jan Shamayar and representatives of one of the leading French energy companies ENEDIS.

    The meeting provided information on ongoing reforms in the field of training qualified personnel for various sectors of the economy. It was noted that since energy is one of the strategic directions in the rapid development of the state, it is important to train qualified personnel in this area.

    Director of the National School of Applied Sciences Yan Shamayar enthusiastically noted the attention paid in Uzbekistan to the training of specialists in the field of energy, and expressed readiness to cooperate with relevant organizations and educational institutions of the country in this area.

    According to him, 1660 students are currently studying at INSA. 17% of them are citizens of foreign countries. The expenses related to the education and accommodation of foreign youth are financed by scholarships provided by the French Government and the Erasmus program of the European Union.

    The Institute also pays great attention to research work. There are two laboratories on its territory. The university has also established a line of international cooperation. At the same time, it was noted that there are strong ties with educational institutions in Brazil, Italy, Morocco, China and New Zealand. A branch of the institute has been opened in Vietnam, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

    Representatives of the National School expressed interest in cooperation with Uzbekistan in training qualified personnel in the field of energy. Cooperation is planned in this direction with the support of the energy company ENEDIS.
