According to the resolution, the project "Improving the quality of medical services in the Aral Sea region" has been approved:

• the main technical and economic indicators of the project;
• repayment of KfW Bank loans within the framework of the project, including the projected schedule for the payment of additional fees and interest;
• distribution of medical equipment purchased for medical institutions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region;
• distribution of purchased special vehicles by territories.

The Ministry of Health is the executive body responsible for the timely implementation and coordination of the Project, as well as the targeted and effective use of grants.

The State institution "Procurement Center" under the Ministry of Health is the receiving contractor for contracts concluded within the framework of the Project.

The Ministry of Justice will issue a legal opinion on the loan and grant agreements signed between Uzbekistan and KfW Bank.
