For the first time, Uzbekistan is hosting this prestigious forum, which will be held from June 23 to 25, the Dunyo news agency reports.
It is expected that it will bring together a record number of participants - ministers, representatives of government agencies, international organizations, academia, the civil sector and business from dozens of countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
The main theme of the forum is "Five years to 2030: accelerating the provision of public services for a sustainable future." The program includes plenary sessions, thematic discussions, presentations of successful practices and strategic negotiations on new approaches in public administration.
The organizers are the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) together with the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Agency for Civil Service Development and the Agency for Strategic Reforms of Uzbekistan.
Since 2003, the forum has been held in the USA, Austria, Tanzania, South Korea and other countries. In 2025, Samarkand became a new point of attraction for a global dialogue on the future of the civil service.
