A meeting with deputies of the National Assembly of South Korea was held in the Senate of the Oliy Majlis

Chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis on Budget and Economic Reforms Erkin Gadoev met with a delegation led by deputies of the Committee of the National Assembly of South Korea on Land, Infrastructure and Transport Choi In Ho and Kim Jong Jae.

During the dialogue, the sides emphasized that despite the geographical distance, the peoples of Uzbekistan and South Korea are bound by long-standing and strong ties of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Issues of further strengthening of friendship and special strategic partnership between the two countries, expansion of trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian, especially inter-parliamentary ties were also discussed.

In particular, the deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea expressed interest in the active participation of a number of corporations of the country in the development of automobile and railway infrastructure in Uzbekistan.

At the same time, the guests thanked for the warm welcome and invited the delegation of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis to take part in the World Exhibition EXPO-2030, which will be held in Busan, South Korea in 2023.
