During the meeting, prospects for the development of cooperation between the Parliament of Uzbekistan and the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, as well as issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of ecology, sustainable development and international politics were discussed.

Priority areas for further cooperation were also considered, including issues of environmental safety, the use of "green" technologies, poverty reduction, improvement of water supply and environmental protection.

Mohammad Reza Majidiy noted Uzbekistan's success in implementing the political and economic reforms carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, especially in the context of the new constitutional amendments and the Development Strategy "Uzbekistan 2030".

In addition, issues of expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the member countries of the Assembly, as well as the development of ziyarat tourism were discussed. In this context, they expressed their willingness to deepen cooperation in the field of tourism, including the exchange of experience and the strengthening of intercultural ties.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue active work within the framework of existing initiatives and the development of new joint projects.
