During the meeting, key issues related to preparations for the 150th anniversary Assembly of the IPU, which will be held in Uzbekistan, as well as the further development of cooperation in the field of parliamentary reforms were discussed.
Special attention is paid to the historical significance of the Assembly on the topic: The Parliamentary Movement for Social Development and Justice, which is fully consistent with the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan. It was emphasized that the positive aspects of Uzbekistan's parliamentary work can become a reference point for other countries.
M. Chun Gong expressed gratitude for the fruitful cooperation of the Parliament of Uzbekistan with the Inter-Parliamentary Union and noted the significant contribution of our country to the activities of the IPU.
