According to the report, the average monthly increase in consumer prices for January-September of this year reached 0.6%. In annual terms (by September last year), the indicator was fixed at 9.2%.

Prices for food products in September increased by 1.8%, non-food products - by 1%, and paid services - by 0.6%.

At the same time, by December 2022, the increase in prices for food products was recorded at 5.6%, non-food products - 4.8%, and services - 4.7%. In annual terms, the indicator for food and non-food products increased by 11% and 7.6%, for services - 8.2%.

The largest increase in prices for September is observed in two products: flour - by 15.7% (by September 2022 - 4.1%), eggs - by 7.8% (26.8%). In addition, rice and rice cuttings rose in price by 1.3% (by September 2022 - 46.3%), beef with bones - by 1% (12%), lamb - by 1.4% (12%), milk - by 1.3% (17.7%), sunflower oil - by 0.8%, as well as sugar - by 0.1% (2.7%).

Last month, prices increased for the following vegetables and fruits: peaches - by 15.1%, lemons - 13.6%, pomegranates - 13.3%, grapes - 9.5%, carrots - 8%, garlic - 7.2%, pumpkin - 6%, potatoes - 5.4%, bananas - 3.8%. Compared to September last year, cabbage rose by 86.3%, carrots - 68.1%, lemons - 52.9%, tangerines - 35.7%, pomegranates - 26.4%, grapes - 26.2%, pears - 21.3%, bananas - 18.4% and apples - 13.2%.

In a number of regions, there was an increase in rent for housing (on average in the republic by 2.4%). The short-term CPI for materials and services for maintenance and repair of residential premises in September of this year amounted to 100.8% and 101.7%, respectively.

In September, gasoline prices increased in all regions. In particular, the average growth rate for gasoline in the republic was 2.3%, and for gas fuel for motor vehicles - 2.4%, including methane - 2.9%, propane - 1%.

It is noted that the prices for air passenger transport services in September decreased by 1.3%, due to the change in the exchange rate of the national currency to the euro. Compared to August of this year, there was a decrease in prices by 0.4% - for passenger rail transport services.

At the same time, last month, catering services rose in price in nine regions on average from 0.1% to 2.5%, the report clarifies.
